Simone Biles Shows Off Immaculate Game Day Style in Oversized Bears Jacket and Jeans

The star gymnast spent her Thanksgiving watching husband Jonathan Owens and the Chicago Bears take on the Detroit Lions.

For Simone Biles, this Thanksgiving didn’t bring a day spent relaxing at home. On Thursday, the professional gymnast traveled to Detroit, Mich.—to Ford Field, more specifically—to watch her husband, Jonathan Owens, and the Chicago Bears take on the Detroit Lions.

Though the Bears (who are now 4-8 on the season) couldn’t pull off the away game win against the Lions, Biles brought her characteristic good energy to the sidelines—and incredible game day fashion to match. For years now, the 27-year-old has proven herself an impeccable curator of sideline style. Though she’s busy with her own athletic endeavors, she manages to make appearances at a handful of Owens’s games each season and always does so in the best fashion.

This past week, that fashion took the form of classic light-wash jeans, a simple white tee and white high-heeled boots. While chic, the real focal point of the outfit was her oversized Bears jacket. The navy, white and orange quilted nylon number was the perfect vintage touch to an otherwise simple outfit. Plus, it served as the perfect show of team spirit.

Over the course of the NFL season thus far, we have been thoroughly impressed by the sidelines fashion—both the dramatic (think Kristin Juszczyk’s incredibly designed and executed styles) and the understated (like Biles’s basics with a touch of game day gear).

But if we’ve learned one thing from all of these looks combined, it’s that a show of team spirit is an essential aspect of a good game day style. Now, that might sound intuitive, but we don’t just mean throwing on a team T-shirt and calling it a day. We’re talking about something a little more curated and thoughtful. Biles’s recent look is the perfect example. Sure, the touch of team spirit wasn’t over-the-top, but it was certainly thoughtful—and fashionable.

And she’s not the first we’ve seen incorporate good vintage finds into her game day style this season, either. Christen Harper, the wife of Detroit Lions quarterback Jared Goff, is an expert at styling good vintage finds. She proved as much last season with her series of electric blue jackets and cropped jerseys. This season, she has continued the tradition.

Over a month remains in the NFL regular season. And we’re sure we haven’t seen the last of noteworthy sidelines fashion this year—from Biles and otherwise. As always, we will report back with our finds.

British-Nigerian heavyweight Anthony Joshua has backed Oleksandr Usyk to defeat Tyson Fury once again when the pair meet for a rematch in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, on December 21.

Joshua, who lost to Usyk twice in 2021 and 2022, believes Fury lacks the tools to overcome the Ukrainian’s skill and discipline in their highly anticipated clash.

“I said Usyk will win. I said that from 2023. I do think Fury’s a good fighter, but there’s levels,” Joshua told IFL TV.

“A cruiserweight nearly knocked Fury out. You’ve got to learn from these situations. I don’t think he underestimated him, but what he was saying about middleweights just goes to show you should never downplay a fighter.”

Fury suffered his first career defeat against Usyk in May after a gruelling contest that saw him barely survive a punishing ninth round. The Briton activated his rematch clause immediately and has vowed to secure victory without relying on the judges’ scorecards.

However, Joshua has expressed doubt over Fury’s chances, urging him to show more respect for Usyk’s capabilities.

ANTHONY JOSHUA

“Me personally what I think, nah. No way,” Joshua added.

“I think Fury’s good, he had some good moments, but I just don’t think he can do it. It’s not that I don’t rate him, I just don’t think he’s better than Usyk. Fury maybe should give him the respect he deserves next time, and he might put on a better performance.”

The rematch is expected to draw global attention, with Usyk aiming to cement his dominance and Fury seeking redemption.

For Joshua, the outcome could shape his own future. His promoter, Eddie Hearn, has reiterated plans to secure the long-awaited Fury fight regardless of the result, though a second Fury loss may ease negotiations.

Joshua, who recently lost to Daniel Dubois in a bid to reclaim the heavyweight crown, remains focused on his own career but will undoubtedly have a vested interest in the Riyadh showdown.

Angel Reese Joins Simone Biles’ Lead In A Special Collab As She Stuns In An Exclusive Outfit

The Chi-Town Barbie never misses a chance to impress when it comes to fashion! Whether she’s gracing a fashion event, cheering on her favorite NFL team, or rocking bold Halloween costumes, Reese’s style choices never fail to turn heads. Her latest fashion statement? A classy fit that’s causing some buzz. The Chicago Sky sensation appeared to sport a creation crafted by a designer who has worked with none other than gymnastics superstar Simone Biles and the U.S. team.

Angel Reese knows how to keep her fans in the loop, sharing snippets of her life with her signature flair. Recently, the Chicago Sky star gave her Instagram followers another reason to gush as she re-shared a story that was all style. In the post, Reese rocked a sleek black sporty jacket, striking a pose for a mirror selfie. The original story came from Sami Miro, the designer and owner of Sami Miro Vintage, and it featured the caption, “@angelreese5 in 1/1 SMV.”

It seems the Chicago star’s latest fashion flex was no ordinary pick—it was likely a one-of-a-kind piece from Sami Miro Vintage’s exclusive collection. The same designer is no stranger to crafting iconic looks for athletes. Sami Miro had previously designed bespoke jackets for the U.S. Olympic Gymnast Trials as a part of a special collaboration with Nike.

Simone Biles

“I want them to feel even more powerful wearing the bespoke piece that I made them,” Miro had said. Biles shared the snaps in the jacket, visibly thrilled as the confetti surrounded her and the Team USA, ready to take on Paris after the trials.

Sami Miro, a 2023 CFDA/Vogue Fashion Fund Finalist, has firmly established herself as a force in the fashion world. So, it’s no surprise that Angel Reese, ever the trendsetter, chose to rock one of Miro’s designs. Well, this isn’t the first time the Chicago Sky star has left fans and celebs buzzing. Just weeks ago, she wowed everyone in an outfit that paid homage to her admiration for Kim Kardashian—a look so striking it even caught the model’s attention.

Back in November, Angel Reese brought the heat with a dazzling red co-ord set from Kim Kardashian’s SKIMS line. The Chicago Sky star took to Instagram to show off the festive outfit, complete with white snowflake patterns. Reese made sure to tag SKIMS in her story, giving a nod to the brand behind the magic. But even that wasn’t her first time embracing Kardashian’s empire.

Previously, she was spotted rocking the headphone set from the Beats x Kim collection, proving she’s as much a trendsetter in the fashion world as she is on the court. It didn’t take long for Kim Kardashian to take notice of Angel Reese’s style game. The reality star and fashion mogul shared a snap of Angel rocking the Beats x Kim headphones on her Instagram story, adding an enthusiastic, “OMG she’s wearing the Beats x Kim headphones!” topped off with heart emojis.

For 22-year-old Reese, the shoutout was a thrilling moment. Wasting no time, she reposted Kim’s story with a heartfelt caption: “Kim K, you know I love you & I’m always repping the @beatsbydre family.” Talk about a full-circle fashion moment!

Reese continues to prove she’s a force both on and off the court; whether rocking a bespoke jacket or earning shoutouts from style icons like Kim Kardashian, the Chicago Sky star keeps raising the bar for what it means to be a trendsetter in the sports world.

“I am disappointed that I will not be able to compete at the Hero World Challenge this year, but I look forward to hosting the tournament.”

Tiger Woods, statements

With these words, on his social media channels, Tiger Woods announced that he will be forced to skip the unofficial PGA Tour tournament, organized by his foundation, scheduled for December 5-8 in Albany, Bahamas. The Californian, 15-time Major champion, also revealed the last three names of the protagonists in the field: Justin Thomas, his great friend and recent father, Jason Day and Nick Dunlap.

Eldrick Tront Woods was born to an African-American father, Earl, and a Thai mother, Kultida. Nicknamed “Tiger” by his father[8], he began playing golf practically from the time he could walk and was soon considered a sort of child prodigy of the specialty. In 1990, at fifteen years old, he was the youngest golfer to win the National Junior Championships, a success he repeated in the following two years. After having won three consecutive titles of US champion of the amateur circuit (1994, 1995 and 1996), he turned professional, winning two tournaments on the circuit in his first year.

Winner of 15 major tournaments (second only to Jack Nicklaus, with 18) between 1997 and 2019, he has indelibly marked the history of this sport, bringing it into the spotlight after years in which such a dominant and charismatic figure was missing. Among the many moments that have gone down in golf history, we remember the incredible approach holed out at the 16th of the final round of the 2005 Masters, and the victory after a play-off hole against Rocco Mediate at the 2008 U.S. Open at the end of the four rounds played with a fractured tibia and a knee ligament that would be rebuilt a few days later. Historic rivalries with Phil Mickelson and Vijay Singh, among the only athletes capable of threatening, even if only at alternating periods, his dominance.

Tiger Woods holds the incredible number of 54 victories and only 4 defeats in tournaments in which he was leading after three rounds, a record that has fueled the myth of the unbeatable “Sunday Tiger Woods”, invariably dressed in a red shirt and black pants on the Sunday of the final round (his mother passed this little superstition on to him since he was a child). He holds the record for the fewest strokes in all 4 Major Tournaments, is the only player with Jack Nicklaus to have won the “Career Grand Slam” three times, and the only golfer in history to have won more than one Major Tournament for 2 consecutive years (2005-2006)

Tiger Woods

Woods won the Masters in 1997 at 21 years and 3 months, becoming the youngest winner in the history of the tournament (a record now held by Jordan Spieth). He won all 4 Major tournaments consecutively: from the 2000 U.S. Open to the 2001 Masters; this feat was called the “Tiger Slam”, and not the “Grand Slam” because it was not accomplished in the same calendar year. However, he remains the only golfer in the history of the sport to have accomplished this feat.

He has always said he wanted to beat Jack Nicklaus’s record of Majors won (18), and for now he is at 15, having won the 2019 Masters as his last title.

At the end of 2006 he renewed his contract with Nike. The famous sportswear brand has sponsored Woods since 1996, the year in which he became a professional player (for a total gross figure of over 150 million dollars). The new contract provides for a compensation of over 25 million dollars per year, including royalties. Woods has also signed a contract with PepsiCo, to advertise Gatorade, for 100 million dollars, the highest compensation ever paid to an athlete to advertise drinks. In 2007 he was the highest paid athlete in the world with over 122 million dollars. He has also advertised the Tiger Woods PGA Tour video game series, a very successful series that also features him as a character.

According to Forbes magazine, in 2012 Woods was the highest paid athlete in the world with earnings of 83.1 million dollars,[9] while in 2014 he dropped to 9th place in this special ranking (earnings of 50.6 million dollars).[10] As of 2016 his net worth is estimated at around 740 million dollars.

Angel Reese Goes Viral In Jaw-Dropping Cheetah Print Outfit

WNBA star Angel Reese seemed to enjoy her Thanksgiving with her family.

The Chicago Sky rookie forward, who averaged 13 points and 13 rebounds a game in her inaugural WNBA season, was back home with her family in Maryland. The former LSU Tigers star, who transferred into the SEC program after starting her career with the Terrapins, was spending time with her mom and her brother, Julian Reese, who plays for Kevin Willard’s program in College Park.

Reese, an All-Rookie performer in 2024, turned heads with her jaw-dropping cheetah print outfit, which went viral on social media over the weekend.

WNBA fans seem to be pretty obsessed with the cheetah print outfit rocked by the Chicago Sky star.

“Sweetness Angel,” one fan wrote.

“It’s funny cuz I associate leopard print with Auntie ages lol,” one fan added.

“She look like somebody auntie,” one fan added.

“Single handedly carrying the wnba,” one fan added.

“She’s so fine..,” one fan added.

Reese, who won a national championship at LSU, missed the end of her rookie season with the Chicago Sky, suffering a season-ending wrist injury.

Angel Reese

“What a year,” she wrote.

“I never would have imagined the last bucket of my rookie season would be a 3 but maybe that was God saying give them a taste of what they will be seeing more of in Year 2 lol🥲 Through it all, I have showed that I belong in this league even when no one else believed. All I have ever wanted was to come into the W and make an impact. I can confidently say I have done that and will strive to keep doing so. I’m filled with emotions right now that I have a season ending injury, but also filled with so much gratitude for what is next. Although this is God’s timing and not mine, I am finally able to give myself a physical and mental break. ‘God gives his hardest battles to his strongest soldiers.'”

Reese is expected to make a full recovery and be at 100 percent health in time for the start of the 2024 WNBA season.

Fierce rival Dillian Whyte insists Anthony Joshua still has plenty to offer in the ring despite his devastating fifth-round knockout loss to Daniel Dubois in September.

Speaking to Sky Sports News, Whyte, who has a long-standing rivalry with Joshua dating back to their 2015 British title fight, backed the former two-time world champion to bounce back.

“He’s still got a lot left in the tank, and he’s still a big draw,” Whyte said. “As you can see in the fight, he’s still a big puncher. He had Dubois going before Dubois landed the finishing blow.

“It’s hard to say, but he’s young, he’s strong, and he looks in amazing shape. He’s still got a lot of fight left in him.”

Joshua’s defeat to Dubois at Wembley Stadium saw the younger fighter claim the IBF heavyweight title in emphatic style. However, Whyte cautioned against overreacting to a single defeat, especially in the unpredictable world of heavyweight boxing.

“People put too much emphasis on a defeat in heavyweight boxing,” Whyte added.

“That’s why a lot of fights don’t happen. They don’t get made because people focus too much on win, lose, or draw, instead of enjoying two top guys fighting each other. That wasn’t happening a few years ago.”

While talk of a potential rematch with Dubois has surfaced, Joshua is unlikely to return to action as early as February, when Dubois is slated to make his first title defence.

Anthony joshua

Trainer Tony Sims, who worked with Joshua in the early stages of his professional career, believes the former champion’s next logical step should be a long-awaited clash with Tyson Fury, regardless of Fury’s result against Oleksandr Usyk in December.

“I think the younger ones now, leave them alone. Boxing evolves, like anything in life. The young ones come through. Joshua’s 34, going on 35. He’s been a great champion. You’ve got a young, hungry fighter in Daniel Dubois, and he’s taken that title,” Sims said.

“But the obvious fight is still Tyson Fury versus Joshua, whether Tyson wins or loses against Usyk. That’s still a massive fight. Both of them are older now, but it’s a great fight for both of them and one the fans want to see.”

For Joshua, the road back may be long, but voices like Whyte and Sims suggest his career is far from over.

Angel Reese Goes Viral In Stunning New Selfies Promoting Kim Kardashian’s Skims

Angel Reese got fans’ attention with her latest selfies on her Instagram stories while wearing Kim Kardashian’s Skims.
Angel Reese might be enjoying her offseason with the WNBA right now. But she continues to attract a lot of attention from fans, especially with her latest pictures. The Sky forward posted pictures of herself donning Kim Kardashian’s athletic wear brand, Skims, to her Instagram story.
One fan joked about her play on the court, claiming, “Her jump shot broke af, she needs to be in the gym.” While another just praised her appearance, saying, “Damn Angel.”

In response to some of the comments slamming Reese for her earlier comments about not wanting to be sexualized, one fan rightly pointed out, “Her body her choice G.”

Reese has struggled in recent months with fan reaction to her appearance, with her mentor, Shaquille O’Neal, making some inappropriate comments about her during a podcast appearance together. Coming from someone who is like a father figure to her, something Shaq himself has said, it was quite an uncomfortable watch.

Reese’s interactions with fans haven’t been all that great, so you can understand her hesitation. She revealed recently how a WNBA fan was extremely rude to her for not signing an autograph. Having to deal with such a rabid and entitled fan would not have been easy.

It isn’t known whether the pictures Reese shared are just her showing her support and appreciation for Kardashian’s Skims brand or a sign that she might be signing an endorsement deal with them soon.

Skims usually do professional photoshoots with their brand ambassadors and models, so fans might just have to wait and see whether Reese is one of the new faces of the brand. It wouldn’t be surprising to see Reese go viral again if any professional photos from a possible Skims shoot come out.

Jonathan Owens Just Copied Wife Simone Biles’s Iconic Pose on the Football Field

In October, Olympic gold medalist Simone Biles showed major PDA with her husband, Jonathan Owens while attending one of his games, and earlier this month, the couple’s body language spoke volumes about their rock-solid relationship. So, it comes as no surprise that now, Owens is giving a special shoutout to his wife after making a significant play on the football field.

On Sunday, when the Chicago Bears faced off against the Minnesota Vikings, Owens forced a fumble on Vikings running back Aaron Jones—and he wasted no time celebrating. The official Bears Twitter account released a clip of Owens and his team gathering in the end zone, where they paid tribute to Biles by imitating her famous landing pose.

In the video, Owens, with the football in hand, pauses to raise his arms just like Biles, and his teammates quickly follow suit. Meanwhile, Biles gets excited and smiles from ear to ear as she watches along from the suite. The gymnast took to her stories and reposted a snippet of the clip, adding a trio of hearts and laughing emojis.

One fan commented, “So cute, and the team supporting makes it even cuter.” Another added, “The team understood the assignment.”

Owens and Biles have been going strong since they tied the knot in Houston, Texas back in April 2023. They also held a second destination wedding in Cabo San Lucas, Mexico with close family and friends. Earlier this year, both confirmed that starting a family is definitely in their future.

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens

On the Today show, Biles told Hoda Kotb, “Me and Jonathan always talk about kids, and he would have had them yesterday if he could have. Obviously, we both have goals that we want to achieve before we start a family. But yes, that’s definitely in our future.”

Owens also confirmed the same to People, adding that he would support their endeavors, even if it’s not in sports. He said, “I’ll just support them a hundred percent. I don’t want to force ’em and make it feel like you have to do this because we did. That does generally work out for kids.”

Simone Biles Will Work With Snoop Dogg on NBC’s ‘The Voice’ in Surprising Role

Simone Biles is teaming up with Snoop Dogg in a very unexpected way for NBC’s hit reality singing show The Voice.

The seven-time Olympic gold medalist will be joining the legendary rapper as one of his singing team’s mentors in the episode premiering this upcoming Monday. The episode was already filmed, and Biles admitted she had fun doing it, even if singing isn’t her expertise.

“We were able to riff off each other and give the artists the best insight going into the next round,” Biles told The Associated Press. “It was pretty easy, simple. We’re both very mellow. But if we need to bring that energy up, then we can. For us, it was about instilling confidence going into the next week.”

It sounds like Biles’s best piece of advice for Snoop Dogg’s team is how to perform under the lights with everyone watching you, and how it’s best to deal with that pressure. She has competed in three Olympic Games and various other international gymnastics competitions so she knows what it’s like to be in the spotlight.

Simone Biles

“She’s a performer. I’m a performer. We’ve performed under extreme conditions. We always do our best. But sometimes things happen behind closed doors that you don’t know about,” Snoop Dogg said. “So, we’re able to speak to those things and give them real reassurance.”

Snoop Dogg worked as an Olympic correspondent for NBC during the 2024 Paris Games this past summer. He witnessed Biles performing on the Olympic stage there, and now she gets to witness his craft up close.

Roger Federer sends emotional message to Rafael Nadal before his retirement as he picks out his favourite memories

Roger Federer has penned a touching tribute to Rafael Nadal ahead of the Spaniard’s retirement.

In October Nadal announced he would end his career after the Davis Cup finals, and Spain will begin their campaign against the Netherlands.

After weeks of build-up in which plenty of tributes have been issued, Nadal will take to the court on Tuesday for what could possibly be the final match of his illustrious career.

Ahead of what will be a difficult week for the tennis world as they prepare to say goodbye to a legend, arguably the most important person in Nadal’s career outside of his family sent him an emotional message.

Roger Federer issued touching tribute to Rafael Nadal ahead of his retirement

Roger Federer is arguably the most important person in Rafael Nadal’s tennis career outside of his family.

They shared a rivalry which changed the game and intense battles on court produced a solid friendship that has continued to grow as they have aged.

The pair shared some of their greatest moments on court together and impacted one another in a special way. This was illustrated in a touching message from Federer to Nadal ahead of representing Spain in the Davis Cup finals, in which the 43-year-old picked out some of their defining moments.

“As you get ready to graduate from tennis, I’ve got a few things to share before I maybe get emotional,” the 20-time Grand Slam winner wrote on X. “Let’s start with the obvious: you beat me—a lot. More than I managed to beat you. You challenged me in ways no one else could.

“On clay, it felt like I was stepping into your backyard, and you made me work harder than I ever thought I could just to hold my ground. You made me reimagine my game—even going so far as to change the size of my racquet head, hoping for any edge.

“Rafa, you made me enjoy the game even more.  OK, maybe not at first. After the 2004 Australian Open, I achieved the #1 ranking for the first time. I thought I was on top of the world. And I was—until two months later, when you walked on the court in Miami in your red sleeveless shirt, showing off those biceps, and you beat me convincingly.

“All that buzz I’d been hearing about you—about this amazing young player from Mallorca, a generational talent, probably going to win a major someday—it wasn’t just hype. We were both at the start of our journey and it’s one we ended up taking together.

“Twenty years later, Rafa, I have to say: What an incredible run you’ve had. Including 14 French Opens—historic! You made Spain proud… you made the whole tennis world proud.  I keep thinking about the memories we’ve shared. Promoting the sport together. Playing that match on half-grass, half-clay.

“Breaking the all-time attendance record by playing in front of more than 50,000 fans in Cape Town, South Africa. Always cracking each other up. Wearing each other out on the court and then, sometimes, almost literally having to hold each other up during trophy ceremonies.

Rafael Nadal

“I’m still grateful you invited me to Mallorca to help launch the Rafa Nadal Academy in 2016. Actually, I kind of invited myself. I knew you were too polite to insist on me being there, but I didn’t want to miss it. You have always been a role model for kids around the world, and Mirka and I are so glad that our children have all trained at your academies. They had a blast and learned so much—like thousands of other young players. Although I always worried my kids would come home playing tennis as lefties.

“And then there was London—the Laver Cup in 2022. My final match. It meant everything to me that you were there by my side—not as my rival but as my doubles partner. Sharing the court with you that night, and sharing those tears, will forever be one of the most special moments of my career.”

Will Roger Federer be in Malaga to watch Rafael Nadal at the Davis Cup finals?

It is unknown if Federer will be in Malaga to see Rafael Nadal retire from professional tennis.

When Nadal was asked if his former rival would be attending, the 22-time Grand Slam champion admitted the pair had not spoken about it.

“I didn’t talk to Roger. I think Roger has a busy schedule,” he explained. The Spaniard however quickly made sure to clarify that this was not due to any bad blood, suggesting the pair would stay in touch in the future.

“This is going to be my last week on the professional tour, but I don’t think it’s going to be my last good-bye. So there’s going to be other chances to do something.” Federer, who won the Davis Cup with Switzerland in 2014, would end his message by wishing Nadal well in his final tournament.

Rafael Nadal

“Rafa, I know you’re focused on the last stretch of your epic career. We will talk when it’s done,” he said. “For now, I just want to congratulate your family and team, who all played a massive role in your success.

“And I want you to know that your old friend is always cheering for you, and will be cheering just as loud for everything you do next. Rafa that! Best always, your fan, Roger.”
