Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump have reportedly been growing closer, sparking speculation about a potential romance between the two.

While the news may come as a surprise to some, sources suggest that their relationship has been developing for months, with Woods and Trump choosing to keep things low-key.

Reports from The Daily Mail and The New York Post indicate that Woods and Vanessa have been quietly seeing each other since around Thanksgiving.

READ: Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump have been secretly dating for months, and ex-husband Donald Jr. is reportedly….

The pair, who live just 20 minutes apart in Palm Beach, have been spending more time together, though they have yet to make any public appearances as a couple.

“Tiger and Vanessa have been seeing each other since just before Thanksgiving,” a source close to the couple revealed. “She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together, but she visits a few nights a week. They enjoy spending time together, sharing meals, and keeping things casual.”

For now, Woods and Vanessa are keeping their romance private, avoiding the spotlight and choosing to spend time together in a more intimate setting. Given their past experiences with media scrutiny, both seem intent on handling their relationship differently than they have in the past.

One of the key reasons Woods and Vanessa have grown closer is their shared social circles and family ties. Their children-Vanessa’s daughter Kai Trump and Woods’ son Charlie and daughter Sam-all attend The Benjamin School, a prestigious institution in Palm Beach.

Their families have also been spotted together at public events, further fueling speculation. Last month, Woods and Kai attended the PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational in Torrey Pines, just hours after Woods played a round with former U.S. President Donald Trump.

Notably, Kai, who has committed to playing college golf at the University of Miami, was seen wearing a quarter-zip pullover from Woods’ Sun Day Red brand, a sign of the growing connection between the two families.

In another instance, Vanessa and Kai were seen at the SoFi Center in Palm Beach Gardens, attending a match in the 2025 TGL season, where Woods’ team, the Jupiter Links Golf Club, secured a win over Rory McIlroy’s Boston Common Golf team. Their presence at these events suggests that Vanessa and Woods’ relationship is more than just casual, as their families appear to be blending more frequently.

“It’s not too serious yet, but it’s heading in that direction,” a source close to the couple shared. “They have a lot in common. They both understand the pressures of public scrutiny, they know how to keep their private lives out of the media, and most importantly, they are both devoted parents.”

While they are taking things slow, many believe that this relationship could turn into something significant.

“They’re not in a rush, but they enjoy each other’s company,” another source added. “She’s not with him because he’s famous, and that’s something he really likes about her.”

Glamorous speed-skating sensation Jutta Leerdam and her Dutch teammates won gold in the women’s team sprint at the 2025 World Championships in Hamar, Norway on Friday, but only after a viral moment with boyfriend Jake Paul.

The former YouTuber-turned-boxer and promoter traveled all the way north to the 60th parallel for the event, where he was seen cheering on his long-time girlfriend after a quick pre-race cuddle session.

‘Oh thank you,’ the 26-year-old Leerdam can be heard telling Paul as she waits for her heat.

Standing 5-foot-11, the statuesque blonde is more or less eye to eye with Paul, who gave her a quick shoulder rub before she finished second in the 500-meters to Netherlands teammate Femke Kok.

Paul and Leerdam’s relationship first became public knowledge in March 2023, when the smitten pair couldn’t keep their hands off each other during a romantic date night in Miami, Florida.

Soon after, the speed-skating sensation confirmed they were a couple after sharing a number of loved-up photos of them together on Instagram.

The Problem Child also posted a picture of himself in a private jet en route to Norway, writing ‘coming babes’ before their meeting.

Paul has even hinted at getting married and starting a family in the future.

He was previously been engaged to social media stars Tana Mongeau and Julia Rose. However, his ‘marriage’ to Mongeau was not legally binding and he called it quits with Rose before they had the chance to walk down the aisle.

Paul is now awaiting the release of his reality show with brother Logan.

In November, Paul starred in Netflix’s first-ever boxing event when he faced legend Mike Tyson in an eight-round bout and secured a unanimous decision victory.

The fight at AT&T followed consecutive wins over Nate Diaz, Andre August, Ryan Bourland, and Mike Perry. He holds an 11-1 record with seven knockouts and his only loss against Tommy Fury.

Paul recently released new training footage and revealed he will be fighting on Netflix again. Although his opponent is yet to be named, he was previously linked to former two-division UFC champion Conor McGregor.

ANTHONY Joshua’s illustrious career is winding to a close and with that, the aftereffects from his damaging fifth-round stoppage defeat by Daniel Dubois last September continue.

Dubois, eight years his junior, produced a career-best display as a record 96,000 sell-out crowd watched him headline the Riyadh Season: Wembley Edition card and flourish in the underdog role with aplomb.

Having won the interim title with an eighth-round stoppage win over then-unbeaten 17-0 Croatian heavyweight Filip Hrgovic three months prior, two-division undisputed titlist Oleksandr Usyk (23-0, 14 KOs) relinquished the IBF strap later that month as a “present” so Joshua-Dubois was for the full version.

Dubois was upgraded, their all-British showdown set and the younger man made that first world title defence one he’ll never forget, scoring four knockdowns in five rounds to prompt another inquest into a baffling Joshua performance given his steady rebuild in the 18 months leading up to that night.

An immediate rematch with revised contractual terms was welcomed by Dubois and his promoter, Queensberry chief Frank Warren. Hearn and team Joshua walked back their eagerness to settle the score as time wore on, aware their two-time unified champion would’ve needed to recuperate fully while Dubois wanted to stay active.

Six months on, the update is an uncomfortable one.

Talking to BoxingScene on the eve of their latest show, headlined by Ammo Williams vs. Patrice Volny, Matchroom chief Eddie Hearn shared an unexpected injury update when assessing the 35-year-old’s next fight options.

“He’s pretty relaxed, but I’ll be honest, I think the only fights that really get his juices flowing are Dubois and Tyson Fury. Doesn’t mean he won’t fight someone else, but he’s beaten Joseph Parker already, Agit Kabayel’s on a great run but if you’re AJ, can you get yourself up for that? I don’t know.”

Usyk has this week been ordered to make a mandatory defence against interim champion Parker, who scored a second-round stoppage win over late-replacement Martin Bakole after Dubois’ fight week virus forced him to withdraw 48 hours before their proposed IBF world title clash in Riyadh last month.

Kabayel (26-0, 18 KOs) won the WBC interim title earlier that night, climbing off the canvas to stop Zhilei Zhang with a sixth-round body shot knockout.

Hearn said Joshua “won’t be able to punch again or train properly for eight-to-ten weeks” after sustaining an unspecified injury, before insisting a long-awaited clash against Tyson Fury was the most likely scenario while naming him and Dubois as the two “that light the fire” within his fighter to resurface again.

If the 2012 Olympic champion is unable to punch or train properly as a result of said injury, he’ll subsequently need a longer training camp on his return, meaning any mooted comeback is unlikely until August or later.

Fury (34-2-1, 24 KOs) again announced his retirement from the sport after a second decision defeat by Usyk during their Riyadh rematch on December 22, though many believe it’s inevitable the Morecambe man will return once more.

Oleksandr Usyk is better placed than anyone to judge the skills of both Daniel Dubois and Anthony Joshua.

The Ukrainian has beaten every man he has faced in the professional ring. A former undisputed cruiserweight turned undisputed heavyweight champion, Usyk beat Joshua in back to back fights in 2021 and 2022.

He then beat Dubois via KO in August of 2023, his first title defence in the division, after being down for several minutes from a shot that was ruled to be low.

Joshua has since fought Dubois for the IBF title and ended up coming unstuck and knocked out inside five rounds after putting in what many thought was a below par performance.

Speaking to TNT Sports before he faced Dubois, Usyk was asked outright who is the better boxer of the two Brits.

“Anthony Joshua is Olympic champion, two-time world champion. Daniel is a young boy, yeah? But Anthony is the best boxer.”

He elaborated on his point in a seperate interview.

“You cannot compare the two guys. These are completely different types of athletes. The only thing that is in common is that they both are boxers.”

Neither Joshua nor Dubois has fought since their clash. A rematch was on the cards but fell by the way side due to ‘niggling injuries on ‘AJ’s part. Dubois was instead scheduled to take on Joseph Parker in February but fell ill so withdrew.

Dubois has since been targeting an undisputed rematch with Usykbut the Ukrainian has now been ordered to fight WBO mandatory Parker instead.

In the world of boxing, there are only two guaranteed paths to early fame—either you’re a skilled fighter with a solid amateur prodigy, or you come from a lineage of champions.

Yet, Jake Paul managed to carve out a third route. Fame? Undeniable. Respect as a boxer? That’s still debatable. It’s only been five years since he turned professional, yet he already has elite boxers talking about him. Last year, he shocked the world by defeating Mike Tyson in a highly controversial fight, and recently, he was close to securing a fight with Canelo Alvarez, too.

But one fight has been in discussion since early in his career. Back in 2021, a year after his pro debut, Jake’s older brother, Logan Paul, had an exhibition bout against Floyd Mayweather at Hard Rock Stadium in Florida. Before that fight even took place, Jake found himself face-to-face with the undefeated legend in a heated confrontation. What started as an exchange of words turned into chaos when Jake Paul stole Mayweather’s white hat, sparking an angry reaction that led to security stepping in. Since then, fans have speculated about them fighting. Now, four years later, Mayweather has finally revealed that there were talks of a fight with the younger Paul brother, too. So, what really happened?

Jake Paul Reveals Floyd Mayweather's One Demand To Sign For Fight - Seconds Out

JUST IN: ‘By far’ – Floyd Mayweather overlooks Conor McGregor as he names easiest fight of career

Yesterday, while promoting his One Of One premium natural supplements, Floyd Mayweather sat down for an exclusive interview with US Weekly. The conversation quickly shifted from business to boxing, specifically his long-rumored fight with Jake Paul. Mayweather didn’t hold back when responding to Jake Paul’s claims that he was avoiding the fight. “We offered Jake Paul the fight probably 10 or 20 times, and he turned us down. So that’s bulls—,” Mayweather said, shutting down the idea that he was the one backing out. Two weeks ago, Money Mayweather appeared on The Tonight Show starring Jimmy Fallon. When asked how a fight with Jake Paul would play out, he only needed four words: “At 48, too easy.” He made it clear—he still wants the fight, and in his eyes, Paul is the one running from it. However, Jake Paul had a different story.

Shortly after the Fallon interview aired, Logan Paul uploaded a vlog, where the Paul brothers reacted to Mayweather’s comments. When the clip of Mayweather calling the fight “too easy” played, Jake fired back: “He wouldn’t sign though.” According to the 28-year-old, the 50-0 boxer wasn’t as eager as he claimed. “He said I have to weigh 160. It’s not even physically possible,” Jake Paul stated in the vlog.

For context, Jake Paul fights as a heavyweight and weighed 227¼ lbs in his last fight against Mike Tyson. Mayweather, on the other hand, fought professionally around welterweight and super welterweight towards the end of his career, with his highest being around 150 lbs against Miguel Cotto. That’s a massive 70+ lb difference—something no athletic commission would ever sanction. But does that mean a fight is out of the question now? Definitely not. “Well… we could do an exhibition. That’s easy work, super easy,” the 48-year-old suggested in the exclusive. He even took an example of how Jake Paul chose to fight Mike Tyson instead. “Mike Tyson was a 60-year-old man. He’s an old man. Mike Tyson is enjoying his life. It is what it is,” he added in an obvious dog at the Problem Child.

But even with that option on the table, both fighters are still pointing fingers. However, one thing is certain. Paul isn’t happy with Floyd Mayweather’s current bashing of him.

The rivalry between Paul and Mayweather is well-established. It recently reached a new high after Floyd Mayweather’s comments on the Jimmy Fallon show. After the show aired, Jake Paul made a bold claim. He said he would knock out the five-division world champion in just two rounds. Yes, you read that right. “You bum. Deji gave you a black eye in an event that had 4,000 people in it. Deji hahahah. I would knock you out in 2 rounds and you can’t sniff Mike Tyson’s toe,” the 11-1 boxer wrote, resharing a clip from Money Mayweather’s interview with Fallon.

Jake Paul is no stranger to trash talk, and fans love watching him back up his words—or get humbled trying. But the real question remains: How would he handle punches from elite-level fighters like Floyd Mayweather?

Serena Williams recently posted a wholesome Instagram video where she is seen teaching her daughter, Alexis, how to cook her comforting gumbo recipe.

But it seems that her fans could only focus on one thing, via thousands of comments.

In the middle of cooking, tennis sensation Williams is seen feeding her two dogs pieces of sausage while prepping it for the gumbo. This innocent moment has caused quite a stir.

“She was good til she fed the dog, then it’s a nope,” one comment reads, with another replying, “We don’t touch our food after touching the dog unless hands are washed.”

However, some side with Williams, questioning “who doesn’t give their dog a snack while cooking?”

“As soon as I crack an egg, open a package of deli cheese or start preparing chicken, my dog, Chloe, appears at my heels in the kitchen,” senior editor Megan Ginsberg shares. “She knows if she hangs around and waits patiently, she’ll get a bite. I love having her company in the kitchen and don’t see anything wrong with giving her a couple little scraps, but that’s where I draw the line; she doesn’t get fed in the dining room or get food from our plates.”

“My dog Pepper loves to sit near the kitchen and watch her dad cook,” our associate social media editor Allison Little says. “She knows that begging won’t get her her way, but she’s got one of those faces that you just can’t resist! She’s a pro at fetch, so tossing some raw veggies in her direction is a fun distraction, but she knows very well that she’ll never get a bite of the finished product from our plates, so she doesn’t even bother.”

Many of Williams’ fans were most concerned about the star’s hand being in contact with her dogs’ mouths while she’s prepping her food without washing her hands afterwards. But she is seen dropping or throwing the food to her pups with minimal to no contact, which is exactly what our editors abide by.

“Levi Browndog is my adorable little sous chef, and crunchy veggies like carrots and cucumber are some of his favorite foods,” news, trending and updates editor Abigail Abesamis Demarest says. “He’ll sit patiently while I peel and chop away. When I’m finished, I’ll toss some end pieces to him, and he catches them in his mouth. My hands stay nice and clean and he does a trick and gets a snack! Win win.”

Is Feeding Your Dogs Scraps While You Cook Safe?

We even asked a chef and expert for their opinion on the matter. Shawn Matijevich, lead chef-instructor of Online Culinary Arts & Food Operations at the Institute of Culinary Education weighs in with his thoughts with an overall message of “leave Serena alone!”

“Here is something that people don’t really get about food safety,” he explains. “In food safety, we worry about three different types of contamination: physical (dog drool, dog hair, band-aids), chemical (household cleaners, poisons) and biological (bacteria, virus, parasite). Two of the three could apply here. I think the physical things that could be coming off the dogs and onto her hands could be considered physical contamination if you stretch it that far—it’s very minimal though. If dog drool really gives you the ick, then fine, I get it. But most dog owners I know let their dogs kiss them on the face.”

Whether it’s “gross” or not is one thing, but is feeding your dog in the kitchen a safe choice? Here’s what Matijevich says.

“Biological contaminants, bacteria, viruses and parasites are all present in our household pets in their saliva, skin and bodily fluids,” he shares. “Here in this video, however, Serena is boiling everything that could have possibly come into contact with the dogs. Boiling kills all three of the biological contaminants I talked about, rendering this gumbo worry-free as far as food safety goes.”

When feeding your dogs “human” food, just be sure to give them scraps of things that won’t upset their tummies.

“I definitely give my dogs, Oreo and Banjo, scraps while I cook,” Carolyn Malcoun, our associate editorial director says. “Maybe they get the fatty pieces of meat after it’s been cooked, or a mushy blueberry—Banjo’s favorite.”

The Bottom Line

Serena Williams feeds her dogs scraps in the kitchen, and that is OK. In fact, our editors do it too, and a food safety expert is on our side. Just be sure to wash your hands after coming in contact with your pooch.

“If you are just grossed out by it, I can see that point of view, but there is no real danger here to food safety,” Matijevich concludes.

Tiger Woods and Vanessa Trump are secretly dating and her ex, Donald Trump Jr., is “cool” with it, according to reports.

The golfer, 49, and Don. Jr’s ex-wife, 47, have been a couple for several months, according to the Daily Mail and People. They started seeing each other around Thanksgiving.

Four sources reportedly confirmed the news to the Mail. The couple live 20 minutes from one another in Florida’s Palm Beach.

“She comes to his place on Jupiter Island. They’re not living together. She comes over maybe a few nights a week,” one source told the newspaper. “They just love hanging out, having dinner and schmoozing together. They’re sticking close to home, have decided not to make it a thing and go out in public. Not just yet anyway.”

Vanessa Trump filed for a divorce from Don Jr. in 2018 after 12 years of marriage. An insider told People her ex-husband doesn’t mind that she is now dating the golf legend.

The new couple was pictured together at California’s PGA Tour’s Genesis Invitational at Torrey Pines last month, along with Vanessa Trump’s 17-year-old daughter Kai, who often plays the sport with her grandfather, President Donald Trump.

Woods’s children go to the same $38,595-a-year school as Kai, according to the Mail. Her four siblings are also reportedly aware that their mom is dating the golf pro.

It is becoming a family affair after Woods met with the president for a round of golf last month and also joined him at the White House to recognize Black History Month. Woods looked emotional as he shared the podium with Trump at the event.

It has been a difficult year so far for the golfer. Woods revealed he had ruptured his left Achilles tendon and had surgery this week that will likely keep him out of the Masters next month, and possibly everything else for the rest of the year.

Woods’ mother, Kultida, also died last month and the golfer withdrew from the Genesis Invitational as he coped with the loss. He chose not to be at The Players Championship, the final year of his exemption from winning the 2019 Masters.

Vanessa Trump has not had a high-profile romance since splitting from Don Jr. He was engaged to Fox News host Kimberly Guifoyle until recently, but after pictures emerged of him with Bettina Anderson, a West Palm Beach socialite, last September, the relationship ended.

Don Jr. is now publicly dating Anderson and she was at Mar-a-Lago for the Trump family New Year’s Eve party.

Floyd Mayweather had a tendency to make fights look effortless during his peak, but one was easier than the rest.

Only a handful of fighters were able to ask questions of Mayweather during his unblemished 50-0 career.

There was a nip-and-tuck affair with Oscar De La Hoya in 2007 and of course, Mayweather’s first fight with Jose Luis Castillo in 2002, which many experts felt he lost.

Marcos Maidana also pushed Mayweather all the way in their inaugural encounter in 2014, while Shane Mosley had ‘TBE’ in the most trouble when he rocked him with a series of clubbing rights during the second round of their all-action 2010 clash.

But when it comes to his easiest fight, the list is much harder to narrow down.

Several of the journeyman he laid waste to in the early portion of his career could easily qualify, while he won almost every second of his final bow with dual-weight UFC champion Conor McGregor.

But the most straightforward victory of his career, according to the man himself, was his points win over a young Canelo Alvarez.

“It didn’t matter if Canelo ate his PED steak or not this night, this was by far the easiest fight of my career!” Mayweather wrote on Instagram in 2018.

“Connor McQuitter was a way better fighter than Canelo’s cheating a** and I beat the brakes off him too!

“It takes me 36 mins or less to make $300million plus. It literally takes me one night and one fight to make what you might make in five years and 11 fights!

“So really, who’s still winning? You do the math!”

Mayweather made the remarks after Canelo called him out for a rematch following the news that he was considering reversing his retirement.

Mayweather beat Canelo via majority decision in 2013

Mayweather’s ‘PED steak’ claim is in reference to Canelo testing positive clenbuterol in 2018, with the latter citing contaminated meat in his homeland as the reason for it.

Canelo was subsequently suspended for six months from February 2018 before making a return in September of that year for his delayed rematch with Gennady Golovkin.

Mayweather and Canelo squared off in 2013 at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in a super welterweight title unification bout.

Canelo was 23 years old at the time and the WBC and Ring Magazine champion at 154lbs while Mayweather was entering the twilight of his career at 36 and held the WBA strap.

Mayweather negotiated the fight at 152lbs – 2lbs lighter than the Mexican had been comfortable at – and proceeded to dominate him for 12 rounds.

However, the scorecards didn’t reflect Mayweather’s shutout display.

A 117-111 scorecard submitted by Craig Metcalfe was the most accurate.

The 116-112 in his favour from Dave Moretti didn’t quite tell the full story of the fight while CJ Ross’ 114-114 draw is one of the most controversial scorecards in the history of the sport.

So controversial, in fact, that the embattled judge chose to step away from the sport after receiving heavy criticism from fans, the press and Mayweather.

“I thought it was a joke, I was kind of shocked but I am not the judge,” he said.

“My job is to go out there, fight and leave the fight in the judges’ hands.”

Anthony Joshua finds himself at a pivotal moment in his career.

Once the dominant force in the heavyweight division, the former two-time world champion is now facing the possibility of another career-defining loss. If he is defeated in his next fight, the calls for his retirement will grow even louder. Many fans and pundits argue that he should bow out gracefully before his legacy takes any further damage. But is it really time for Joshua to hang up his gloves?

Lessons from the Past: The Risk of Becoming Another Chisora There is a growing concern among boxing fans that Joshua could follow the path of fighters like Dereck Chisora, who have continued to battle long past their prime. Chisora, once a top-tier contender, has become known for taking punishment rather than dishing it out. His slowed speech and declining reflexes serve as a cautionary tale. Fans who once cheered for AJ now fear that he, too, could become a shadow of himself, fighting just for the sake of paydays rather than meaningful victories.

British Boxing Legend Tells Anthony Joshua To Retire Before Serious Health Damage Is Done - Seconds Out

READ: Anthony Joshua given hope after new Oleksandr Usyk fight ruling

Joshua’s style relies on athleticism and explosiveness, and if those attributes start to fade, he could struggle to remain competitive at the elite level. Taking unnecessary damage in the ring could have lasting consequences, both physically and mentally. If Joshua is unable to defeat top-tier opponents convincingly, should he risk further damage just to prolong his career?

Promoter Eddie Hearn remains hopeful that Tyson Fury will be lured back into the ring for a pair of ‘Battle of Britain’ clashes with Joshua. However, Fury’s recent stance on retirement and his focus on fighting Oleksandr Usyk for the undisputed title suggest that a match with Joshua is unlikely in the near future. The unpredictability of Fury means that anything is possible, but waiting for a fight that may never happen could be detrimental to Joshua’s career. Even if the fight were to materialize, Joshua’s current form raises questions about his chances. Would he be competitive against a skilled and elusive fighter like Fury? Or would this be another brutal defeat that tarnishes his once-feared reputation?

If Joshua loses his next fight, retirement is one of the two most realistic options. The other is a complete reinvention of his approach to boxing. At 34 years old, he could attempt a late-career resurgence by changing trainers, adopting a new fighting style, or taking on lower-tier opponents to rebuild his confidence. Fighters like Wladimir Klitschko and George Foreman have managed to reinvent themselves and achieve success in the latter stages of their careers. However, Joshua has already switched trainers multiple times, and each transition has led to mixed results. If his latest coaching setup doesn’t bring the results he hopes for, another rebuild might seem futile. Additionally, the heavyweight division is as competitive as ever, with rising stars like Jared Anderson and established champions like Usyk and Fury standing in his way. Joshua must weigh his options carefully. A legacy built on Olympic glory, world championships, and sold-out arenas is at stake. If he can no longer perform at the highest level, stepping away with dignity might be the best decision. But if he believes he still has something left in the tank, then he must prove it in the ring-before it’s too late.

It was not business as usual when the Mexican boxing icon Canelo Alvarez recently participated in a peculiar interview.

The boxer took part in a playful challenge in bid to promote his upcoming bout with William Scull. During the promotional press conference, the interviewer line-listed all the legendary as well as present fighters subjecting Canelo to respond with a punch whenever he heard a name of whoever was stronger than him inside the ropes.

Álvarez has had a remarkable career progression. He turned professional at 15, shortly after his championship at the Junior Nationals, since his trainers at the time, father-and-son team Chepo and Eddy Reynoso, were unable to secure suitable junior rivals for him. In his first 19 months as a professional, he knocked out eleven of his 13 documented opponents, all of whom were considerably older.

The interviewer line-listed a good number of Alvarez’s past challengers, such as Caleb Plant, Edgar Berlanga, and Gennady Golovkin. Others include Bernard Hopkins and Julio Cesar Chavez. The rules were simple: Punch the interviewer if Alvarez heard a better boxer than himself.

The interview took an unexpected turn when Canelo admitted two of his past rivals who got the best of him in their respective bouts. It was until Dmitry Bivol’s name featured is when Canelo struck. He responded by landing a punch on the reporter’s shoulder.

“That night he was better than me,” Canelo self-confessed, in reference to his 2022 defeat to Bivolin their light heavyweight contest.

The interviewer further continued, mentioning Floyd Mayweather, eliciting another punch from the boxer.

“At that moment he was better than me,” Alvarez admitted, referring to his 2013 loss to Mayweather. The defeat remains as the only clear one in his career aside from the Bivol match.

The light-hearted build-up was wrapped with the mention of Muhammad Ali, a boxing legend whom Canelo further reacted to with another punch, concluding the fun exchange

Elsewhere, Mexican boxer continues to prepare for his next fight scheduled for May 3 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, against Cuban William Scull. In 2021, Álvarez (62-2-2, 39 KOs) became the first and only boxer in history to become the undisputed super middleweight champion, holding this distinction until July 2024.

The Mexican fighter who has held multiple world championships in four weight classes will try to defeat Scull and become the unified supermiddleweight champion again. However, according to his manager the opponent will not be easy. Eddy Reynoso, has already shared with his pupil about the risks of facing the Caribbean boxer.

The trainer recalled that Scull is an unbeaten fighter with a record of 23 wins in 23 fights and nine knockouts. Further, he is a fighter hungry for victory, who will embark on the ropes with nothing to lose, but a lot to gain.

“This is the fight of my life,” Scull said of the fight against Canelo. “I know I’m not known in the world, but I have a title won in the ring and I knew Canelo was going to come for my belt, my turn came,” said Scull in a press interview.
