HINTS ‘I DON’T THINK HE HAS FOUR OR FIVE YEARS IN HIM’ – EDDIE HEARN HINTS AT ANTHONY JOSHUA CAREER TWILIGHT
Eddie Hearn has admitted that he doesn’t see Anthony Joshua fighting for another four or five years, and believes that the British former heavyweight champion might only have “three, four, five, or six more” fights in his professional career. Joshua, who will turn 35 in October, faces Daniel Dubois at Wembley Stadium on September 21, and it will be broadcast live on TNT Sports Box Office.
Eddie Hearn has hinted that Anthony Joshua might only have a few fights left of his professional career.
The Matchroom Boxing CEO indicated that Joshua, who is set to face Daniel Dubois live on TNT Sports Box Office, “would fight anybody”, but “is not going to be around forever.”
Anthony Joshua will face Dubois on September 21 at Wembley Stadium, as he looks to continue his winning streak after his knockout victory over Francis Ngannou in Saudi Arabia.
Joshua, now 34, will turn 35 in October, and Hearn admitted that the Briton could only have a single-digit number of bouts left.

“AJ would fight anybody,” Eddie Hearn told BoxNation.
“He would be happy to fight Ruiz again. He’s not going to be around forever.
“Three more, four more, five more, or six more. I don’t think he has four or five more years in him, but who knows?”
Joshua sees his compatriot Dubois, who arrives at Wembley in good form following two knockout wins over Jarrell Miller and Filip Hrgovic, as a side quest before he gets the title shot that he really wants, against the winner of Tyson Fury and Oleksandr Usyk’s rematch, which is scheduled for December 2 in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

“The main plan is to beat Daniel Dubois on September 21st and then fight for the undisputed against the Usyk-Fury winner,” said Hearn.
“He’s in the best shape of his life, loves his boxing, and is very happy.
“So, while that is the case, carry on going. Part of me would like to see AJ beat Dubois and then fight the winner, Usyk-Fury, twice.
“If you won those, imagine winning those and then calling it. That would be unbelievable.”
