“I Fear For Him” Anthony Joshua Makes ‘Worrying’ Mike Tyson-Jake Paul Prediction: “I Fear For Him”
Mike Tyson ‘s fight with Jake Paul is fast approaching and the predictions continue to fly in from all quarters.
There are now three months to go until this rather unlikely showdown in Texas in November. The fight was first scheduled for July but Tyson was forced to postpone the bout after suffering an ulcer flare-up.
Since then he has been in recovery and his opponent, the almost 30 years younger Paul, was determined to fight on their original date.
He beat former UFC fighter and bare-knuckle champion Mike Perry by fifth round stoppage to take his record to 11-1.
Tyson might have once upon a time been the youngest ever heavyweight but has not fought professionally since 2005 when he ended his storied career with a pair of losses, though he did lace up the gloves once in 2022 for an exhibition with Roy Jones Jr that ended in a pre-arranged draw.
Fellow former heavyweight champion, Anthony Joshua, has now been asked about the contest by Jonathan Ross and deemed it good for the sport.

“I personally think it’s really good. I think the boxing fanatics don’t like it because it’s like why are they disrespecting our sport, there’s an Olympic system you go through and once you qualify there you go through the professional ranks, whereas someone with a profile can come out of nowhere and fight the best guys.
“Let’s say we divided this crowd in half and half are hardcore boxing fans and half are people that love a certain person like a YouTuber, but that person brings all these people into boxing with benefits everyone. It’s a tough game so everyone viewing helps so I think it’s really good for exposure.”
He then predicted the fight and sided with the younger man, fearing Tyson’s age might catch up to him and praying the 58-year-old comes out healthy.
“The only thing I’m worried about is father time and father time has never been beat.
Tyson is older now, I pray that he comes out healthy.

I think Jake Paul [will in] because of the youth, that’s the only thing, because of the youth.”
Joshua has plenty on his own plate as right now he is in camp for his word title showdown with Daniel Dubois in September at Wembley. Victory would see him become a three-time world champion, while a loss would mean a long road back.
