Supporting Simone Biles, BFF Jordan Chiles Reveals How Tokyo’s Chaos Was a Blessing in Disguise: ‘People Are Understanding’

“She’s not a quitter,” Jordan Chiles said in 2021 when many in media and online were quick to discredit Simone Biles. The gymnastics legend faltered during the vault finals and withdrew from the competition. However, while many worked to tear down the champion, Biles didn’t shy away from exposing her vulnerable side. In fact, she spoke up for every Olympic athlete and the immense pressure they face during competition.

“Being in that position that she was in during that time frame and her being vulnerable, it just made it even better for, not just me, but everybody around us,” said Jordan Chiles. While the gymnastics legend had faltered in repeating her 2016 Rio Olympic success, Biles had opened up about athletes’ woes. It was thanks to the 27-year-old that the world learned of the ‘twisties.’

A popular term among those involved with gymnastics, ‘twisties’ is the quirky nickname of the phenomenon when gymnasts lose the synergy between their mind and body. Simone Biles was going through a similar condition in Tokyo in 2020 and revealed how the burden of expectations and ruthless pursuit of glory may have contributed to the issue.

While skeptics dismissed it as an excuse, droves of athletes seconded the 27-year-old’s concerns. “And having somebody like her, whether people see it or don’t see it… it’s definitely cool to finally see that people are understanding where she’s coming from, not just as an athlete but also as a human,” Chiles said in an exclusive interview with CNN.

Besides fellow gymnasts such as Jordan Chiles and Sunisa Lee, multiple former and active athletes followed Simone Biles‘ lead. Sporting legends such as 23-time Olympic gold medalist Michael Phelps, who had been a longtime advocate of athletes’ mental health, praised the 27-year-old’s decision to speak up on the grandest stage. Now three years down the line, Biles has seen change.

“Now people come up to me and they’re like, ‘I’ve been in therapy for the first time in my life, and thank you so much.’ There’s power in that. And I just know I’m helping people out there,” the seven-time Olympic gold medalist told CNN. One of the people Biles empowered to open up to also happened to be her best friend, Jordan Chiles.

How Jordan Chiles has opened up after Simone Biles’ bold move

Simone Biles

Since watching her World Champions Center buddy show her vulnerable side in Tokyo, Chiles has followed suit. The two-time Olympian has shared her own tumultuous and often scarring journey behind the gymnastic glory. Even three years after Tokyo 2024, the 23-year-old narrated a harrowing chapter of her gymnastics journey on The Squeeze podcast.

Simone Biles’ training partner explained how Olympic glory became the only focus of her life as a teenager. “From being 15 years old now, my mindset had always been Olympics, Olympics, Olympics. It was nonstop. People only saw me as an athlete,” Chiles told the Lautners. The Olympian’s life became all about achieving excellence, even at the cost of her mental health.

“I had a coach who verbally ab–d me and emotionally ab–d me… There were a lot of times when I did want to quit.” confessed a teary-eyed Jordan Chiles. In another interview with POPSUGAR, Chiles added that the former coach even restored to body shaming so Chiles would never think about gaining weight.

However, had it not been for Simone Biles’ bold decision to admit her failure at the Olympics, Chiles may have never opened up about the darker elements behind the fame and glamour of being an Olympic medalist. So the best friends and athletes are glad to see people seeking help thanks to their decision to open up.

Simone Biles, Cardi B, and Giancarlo Esposito Celebrate ‘Moments’ in Netflix Ad

Netflix has launched a star-studded campaign, dubbed “It’s so good,” to promote its newest app feature, Moments.

The new feature allows fans to bookmark and share memorable scenes from popular shows on social media platforms.

It was launched on Netflix’s iOS app this October, with an Android release set to follow in the coming weeks.

Created in partnership with Wieden+Kennedy Portland, the campaign features Olympic gymnast Simone Biles, rapper Cardi B, and actor Giancarlo Esposito among the celeb-filled cameo for the streaming platform’s latest spot.

By spotlighting high-profile icons, Netflix taps into influencer marketing’s power, using these cultural voices to turn the new feature into a must-try experience that fans will want to dive into.

The Must-Watch Titles Everyone’s Buzzing About

“It’s So Good” captures the enthusiastic buzz and excitement over some of Netflix’s most popular titles, including Stranger Things, Squid Game, Wednesday, Baby Reindeer, and Formula 1: Drive to Survive.

The ad starts with Giancarlo Esposito describing to a group of onlookers how Wednesday Addams’ dance in “Wednesday,” the Netflix adaptation of the popular Addams Family franchise, evokes emotionalism.

Seeking to portray the obsession over new shows in a relatable tone, the spot continues showing more fans citing scenes from their favorite Netflix shows.

The energy peaks with Olympic gymnast Simone Bile explaining how binge-watching “Drive to Survive” made her contemplate whether racing could be her “next thing.”

Capturing the fervor of fan obsession, the ad builds to a crescendo as the stars enthusiastically proclaim their favorite shows being “so good,” wrapping up with Netflix’s iconic logo.

Earlier this year, the streaming giant partnered with Google on an “Emily in Paris” shopping experience in honor of the popular show’s latest season premiere.

Victim of Racism, Simone Biles Speaks Out on Eliminating Biases From American Gymnastics: “What They Need”

Simone Biles has conquered the world of gymnastics and is the undisputed GOAT. Unfortunately, when it comes to the dreaded topic of racism, there are still battles left to be fought on the frontline. Appearing in an interview with Hoda Kotb on TODAY, Biles talked on the topic of racism. When asked whether she has been a victim of racism, Biles stated that till 2013, everything seemed normal.

Despite attending a white school, Biles was lucky enough not to be scarred by the ill effects of racism. Unfortunately, the shield eventually broke, when Biles was competing at the 2013 World Championships. Recalling the incident, Biles said, I was on a world scene, and what made the news was, another gymnast saying that if we painted our skin black maybe we would all win because I had beaten her out of beam medal, and she got upset. And that [was] really the news.” Now, while this was certainly a shocking turn of events, Biles decided to be a role model for the upcoming generations so that they could be devoid of these ill practices.

Biles also had some words of courage for the young gymnasts looking up to her. She said to CNN Sports, “If you look at the Paris Olympic team you have representation from all over and so it’s those kids in the crowd looking at the male gymnast and the female gymnast saying, 1look just like them, I can do it. That’s what they need. It gives them all the confidence.”  Well, the incident that Biles referred to involved the Italian gymnast, Carlotta Ferlito.

At just 16 years old, Simone Biles became the first gymnast of color to win an all-around title. However, things took a bitter turn when Biles defeated Ferlito to clinch the bronze medal in the balance beam category. The Italian gymnast did not take the result in good spirits. Instead, she accused Biles of winning due to her race rather than her talent.

simone biles

Lashing out at the results, Ferlito stated that she told her teammate Vanessa Ferrari to paint their skin black next time. Such a comment took the internet by storm, and Ferlito later apologized to Biles on X. However, Simone Biles was not the only athlete to face racism; her BFF, Jordan Chiles, has also experienced similar challenges.

Jordan Chiles accused of ‘robbing’ the Olympics floor finals

After an inquiry from Cecile Landi titled the game in Chiles’ favor, the internet began to take shots at Jordan Chiles. Before the inquiry, it was Ana Barbosu of Romania who was slated to win the bronze medal. Unfortunately, with Chiles getting a revised score, the medal ended up with Chiles. This was not taken in a good light by a lot of fans. Most of them accused Jordan Chiles of ‘robbing’ the finals as she was a gymnast of color.

With things taking a scathing turn, Jordan’s mother, Gina Chiles took to X and wrote, “The racist disgusting comments are still happening in 2024. I’m tired of people who say it no longer exists. My daughter is a highly decorated Olympian with the biggest heart and a level of sportsmanship that is unmatched…and she’s being called disgusting things.” Ultimately, in a sad turn of events, the bronze medal was indeed taken away from Jordan Chiles.

Following an inquiry at the Court of Arbitration from Romania, Team USA was found to be late in submitting the inquiry in Paris. Thus, Chiles’ revised score was considered as void and Ana Barbosu was awarded as the bronze medalist. Thus, despite both Simone Biles and Jordan Chiles reigning at the top of their sports, they still were not invincible from the scathing clutches of racism.

We live in a world where social media and rumors often seem to know more about us than we do ourselves. Take the ongoing controversy surrounding Simone Biles and student loan forgiveness, for example. It’s sparked a heated debate about the fairness of wealthy individuals benefiting from programs meant to help ordinary citizens who are struggling with financial burdens. Many people are questioning whether it really makes sense for someone with substantial wealth to receive financial relief that was designed for those in genuine need.

Simone Biles is an extraordinary athlete who has achieved much success in gymnastics, earning significant wealth through endorsements and various ventures. Her story shows hard work and determination, but now she finds herself at the center of a firestorm after accepting $44,000 in student loan forgiveness.

A post from @stargaze1212 captures the outrage: “Roseanne Barr ‘goes mad’ as Simone Biles, worth $14 million, but still took $44K in student loan forgiveness: ‘Why are we giving taxpayer funds to millionaires?’” This raises a compelling question: should someone like Biles be eligible for assistance when she’s clearly not financially struggling?

On the other hand, some argue that if Biles qualifies for loan forgiveness under the existing rules, then she is entitled to it, just like any other citizen. This perspective suggests that the outrage might be misplaced, especially if the eligibility criteria are being followed. Ultimately, this debate shines a light on the effectiveness and fairness of financial assistance programs. It really makes you think about who these programs are designed to help and whether they’re reaching those who truly need it.

Over the years, Simone Biles has built quite a fortune, reportedly worth $14 million. Despite this, there are still people defaming her. However, Biles has put her foot down, putting an end to the rumors. Unfortunately, Biles is unfairly portrayed in a negative light over her acceptance of just $40,000 in student loan forgiveness.

Impact of public scrutiny on Simone Biles’ mental health

Simone Biles is being portrayed negatively for her use of the student loan forgiveness program because it contrasts sharply with her impressive net worth of $14 million. Critics point out that such programs are intended for people who genuinely need financial help, so when someone like Biles benefits from them, it raises eyebrows.

simone biles

Many feel that it’s a misuse of taxpayer-funded resources, which should prioritize those who are truly struggling. This could lead to fans feeling disappointed and less supportive, especially since they often expect public figures to set a good example. Suppose public opinion changes direction and shifts its favorability. In that case, brands might reassess their associations with her as an influencer or public figure leading to potential repercussions on her earnings and overall attractiveness for commercial engagements, in the market.

On top of that, the increased scrutiny and criticism could take a toll on Biles’ mental health, particularly since she has been open about her past challenges in that area. Dealing with public backlash can be stressful, especially for someone who is already in the spotlight. Plus, she may find herself compelled to address assistance and wealth disparity more often potentially shifting her focus away, from gymnastics and other personal pursuits. However, Biles has consistently shown her support, for mental well-being leveraging her influence to motivate others despite encountering obstacles.

Simone Biles is a strong mental health advocate who encourages athletes and fans to prioritize their well-being. As a role model, she demonstrates that success and mental health awareness can go hand in hand. Her experiences inspire others to seek help and rely on their support systems. In 2022, Biles was Chief Impact Officer at Cerebral, where she promoted collaboration in mental health care. Biles’ choice to prioritize her mental health during the 2020 Tokyo Olympics sparked important conversations and helped reduce stigma, showing athletes that facing mental health struggles doesn’t diminish their worth.

Simone Biles has also partnered with Friends of the Children, a nonprofit that mentors vulnerable young people, to raise awareness and support their mission. She helped launch a chapter in her hometown of Houston and has promoted the organization through a limited-edition Wheaties box and a commercial. Biles is dedicated to inspiring youth to pursue their dreams and values the mentorship Friends of the Children provides, which has shown remarkable results, including 93% of its youth staying out of the juvenile justice system and 83% graduating high school or earning a GED.

However, this year there were rumors that Simone Biles planned to donate $4 million to the Kamala Harris campaign. However, these claims are unfounded, as no credible source confirms this donation. It seems that Simone Biles will continue to be a focal point of discussion, highlighting the complexities of public perception and the scrutiny faced by high-profile figures, while also reminding us of the importance of distinguishing between fact and speculation.

There are 2 sides to every story. Isn’t that how the idiom goes? However, in this day and age, many often opt for taking in information as the cold, hard truth. Unfortunately, Simone Biles is going through something similar. The gymnast closed off a successful third stint at the French capital and is currently busy with her Gold Over America Tour. However, after years of giving her all to the sport, it’s no surprise that she’s racked up a staggering net worth through brand-deal appearances and more.

So, what seems to be the issue, you ask? Rumor has it that the most decorated gymnast used the student loan forgiveness program to relieve her sum of $44,000. Even though the Olympian had a rather humble upbringing, many believe this isn’t the case anymore. Seeing how she is a household name, it is unfathomable that she would need a program like this due to her financial standing. After finding herself in the eye of the storm, the 27-year-old decided to end the speculation with a cryptic message.

“y’all really need to stop believing everything you read on the internet,” Simone Biles stated on X. The debate of whether this was fair or unfair has been making the rounds lately. Her husband, Jonathan Owens, backed her up by retweeting her post with four double exclamation points. Some strongly believe that the gymnast shouldn’t have been eligible for the program. One name that stands out is Roseanne Barr, who asked, “Why are we giving taxpayer funds to millionaires?” This does lead to the question of whether the Olympian should have accepted it.

However, a coin has two sides, just like this debate. While a few were left aghast by this revelation, some believe the 27-year-old is entitled to this program just like everyone else. But before we move any further, what is a student loan forgiveness program? The U.S. government decided to design an initiative that acts as an aid for eligible borrowers. But there’s a catch. The forgiven depends on several factors like employment, time taken to repay said loans, type of loans and more.

Simone Biles

Keeping this in mind, the argument that Simone Biles is eligible for the program is indeed valid. On the other hand, given the gymnast’s response, the debate might not be as plausible. The 11x Olympic gymnast has garnered several fans throughout her illustrious career. How? By sharing bits of her life from on and off the mat. So, how do they feel about her response?

The gymnastics community rallied behind Simone Biles amid speculation

The rumor had been floating about for quite some time before the 11x Olympic medalist decided to step in. However, this isn’t something out of the ordinary. The gymnast is often known for her fierce clapbacks, and this would be one of them. Many fans weren’t privy to the ongoing spectacle. But as soon as the 27-year-old put out her cryptic post, several swarmed to back her up.

One fan exclaimed, “i don’t know what this is about but i just wish people would leave you alone!!” This fan wasn’t going to let an internet rumor change her perception of the G.O.A.T. Another fan agreed, “So true! I wish we didn’t need to say this but here we are!” Simone Biles has previously faced the ire in several situations. One of them was when she was labeled a quitter for bowing out of the 2020 Tokyo Olympics.

A fan echoed the G.O.A.T.’s statement, “Especially on X— I mean, Truth Social 2.0 😭” Just because we read something online doesn’t exactly mean it’s the truth, right? Another fan reiterated, “Only words we believe are the ones coming from you!” The gymnast has always been open about several aspects of her life. In fact, there was a time when the Olympian would share every thought she had on the internet. So, we understand why this fan would take the speculation with a pinch of salt.

One fan chimed in, “Kinda wild how some people don’t ask any questions! Just read and believe! 🤐” This is exactly what the gymnast shone a light on. It has become easier for us to take in information because of the internet. However, many have been notorious for taking it as facts and moving on. Before Simone Biles posted her message, all the pitchforks were drawn out. But will this statement change anything? Or will the speculation continue?

Simone Biles and Jonathan Owens can add darts “champs” to their already impressive résumés.

The Olympic gymnast and Chicago Bears safety enjoyed a night out with a game of darts that included a skillful shot to the bullseye and a celebration routine.

Upon winning their game of darts, Biles, 27, and Owens, 29, celebrated with their own unique and “crazy” handshake, which included slapping their hands back and forth before sealing their shake with a kiss.

“Send em home mad,” Owens wrote on his Instagram Stories on Saturday, Oct. 19 with a close-up of the dart thrown right into the bullseye. “When you and ya lady are the dart champs,” he added with heart and shrugging emojis.

Owens and Biles first met in March 2020 on the exclusive dating app Raya and began dating not long after.

“He would say I slid into his DMs,” Biles told the Wall Street Journal in 2021. “I saw him and I was like, ‘Oh, he’s pretty cute,’ so I said hi … and then I saw that he was in the Houston area, so we started chatting a little bit, and then we went to hang out a week or two later.”

Owens, meanwhile, didn’t know who Biles was at first. “I just hadn’t heard of her, and when I told her that, that’s one of the things she liked,” he told Texas Monthly in June 2021.

Simone Biles

Throughout their relationship, they’ve been supportive of each other’s athletic careers. Biles attends Owens’ football games. In December 2021, she cheered Owens on when he made the first NFL start of his career while on the Houston Texans.

Meanwhile, the NFL player attended the 2024 Paris Olympics to cheer on his wife where the most decorated gymnast of all time took home three gold and one silver medal.

After dating for two years, Biles and Owen got engaged in February 2022 and tied the knot in April 2023 in a small courthouse wedding celebration in Texas.

The power couple celebrated their love with family and friends again in Mexico the following month.

After traveling across the entire nation, Simone Biles and Co. are currently in the Lone Star State. But on October 20, the G.O.A.T. finally made the much-anticipated stop in the gymnast’s hometown of Houston. The “pop concert-style spectacle” graced the Moody Center on Saturday. For obvious reasons, the 11x Olympic medalist was as excited as ever to return to where it all began after her spectacular display in the French capital.

But since then, the gymnast has focused on heading the star-studded tour. In fact, Houston was just as excited to welcome the prodigal daughter home. However, no one was as excited as Ronni Biles, aka Baby Biles. The tiny tot watched her ‘TT’ dazzle the crowds at Bercy Arena in the French capital. Seeing how Simone Biles was finally in Houston, Sammi Biles, the gymnast’s sister-in-law, shared an adorable clip on her Instagram stories of them walking towards the stadium.

Captioned, “my whole heart. so excited 🥹,” Sammi asks Ronnie, whom she sees as they approach the gates. As adorable as ever, she exclaims, “TT!” We can definitely see why she is excited to watch Simone Biles. Sammi matches her energy by chanting, “TT go, TT go.” The tiny tot can’t help but lift her hands up and clap as her mom continues chanting.

Shortly after making it inside, Sammi shares another video of them enjoying the show. Everyone has eyes for the stage, but Ronnie Biles is looking elsewhere. Her father holds her on his lap as Baby Biles looks over to the side, pointing at what we assume is a giant screen. Maybe she is trying to get a better look at her aunt.

The official Gold Over America Tour Instagram account shared a video of Clutch, the Houston Rockets mascot, trying to woo the Olympian with his gymnastics skills. They captioned the video, “Houston, are you ready to GOAT this weekend?” And boy, oh boy, were they ready. Even though Clutch’s moves were slightly shakey, he managed to bring a smile to the most decorated gymnast’s face. However, Baby Biles wasn’t the only one who got to watch the G.O.A.T. in her element.

Guess who stopped by in Houston to spend time with Simone Biles?

A certain Chicago Bears safety cheered his wife on while she racked up medals in the French capital. However, as soon as they returned to the States, their time was cut short. The culprit in question? Their unbelievably busy schedules. Jonathan Owens had to resume training for the ongoing NFL season while the Olympian prepared to take the Gold Over America Tour onto the stage. Even though they had to settle for a long-distance situation, they found ways to visit each other throughout.

Simone Biles was back in her hometown, and she couldn’t help but share it on her Instagram story. But she wasn’t alone. Jonathan Owens joined her as they shared some much-needed alone time. The G.O.A.T. shared a few snaps of them sharing brunch, her infamous pout, while her husband sneaks a tender kiss. In fact, the lovebirds even enjoyed some shopping therapy as they walked around the streets of her hometown.

The most decorated gymnast shared a snap of this wholesome moment on her Instagram story, captioned, “🤍🤍🤍🤍 when hubby comes on tour.” But this isn’t the only thing the duo did while they were in Houston. During their downtime, both added another skill to their already illustrious resumes. What was it? They are both now dart experts. The Chicago Bears safety shared a brief video on his Instagram story on October 19 of a dart in the center of the board.

Owens captioned the video, “When you and ya lady the dart champs.” Should we keep an eye out for them in upcoming dart competitions? However, the gymnast captioned the story, “Send em home mad.” It looks like homecoming was a huge success, a great show, some much-needed time with her family, and much more to look forward to. What do you think of Baby Biles’ adorable reaction?

In the world of artistic gymnastics, there’s no shortage of incredible stars who make the fans gasp with their gravity-defying skills. And yet, the name Simone Biles evokes a sense of respect that can be matched by none other. With 30 Olympic and World Championship gold medals in her cabinet, there aren’t any contenders for the G.O.A.T. title in the world right now. But even she has someone to look up to.

The Paris Olympics will go down as a seminal moment in Biles’ already illustrious career. Not only did she make her emphatic return upon the big stage in the City of Love, she also walked away from the tournament with three gold medals. And yet, she was overshadowed by Rebeca Andrade in the floor routine, where Biles had to settle for silver. But no hard feelings from the Texas native.

Simone Biles seats her opponent on a high throne

Instead, Biles firmly believes the Brazilian phenomenon is something that gymnastics needs to ensure its integrity and popularity don’t wane. In an article by Vogue from October 11, the 7x Olympic gold medalist noted her admiration of her Brazilian colleague without holding back. While speculations about Andrade’s future in the sport are rampant, Biles hailed the former for her relentless passion for the sport. “Rebeca is dedicated, doesn’t give up, has a fun personality, and is paving the way for young girls in Brazil,” Simone is quoted in the article.

Biles went on to reveal how Andrade inspires her fans and colleagues alike with her continuous pursuit of greatness. Biles said, “As a colleague and competitor, she encourages everyone to do their best,” about how aspiring gymnasts should consider Rebeca as a role model who gives her everything to the sport every time she steps onto the court. And that’s exactly what her beloved sport needs, Bilesopines.

It’s important to have her in a competition because she drives the sport.” The greatest gymnast of all time didn’t beat around the bush. But on the other hand, Simone isn’t too weak in chasing her own dreams either.

simone biles

Biles’ efforts to help her colleagues

After her run-in with the twisties in Tokyo, Biles was the lowest in her life. Fans slammed her for abandoning her team in the final and weren’t hesitant to label her as a quitter. The backlash and criticism prompted Simone to go on hiatus, where she stayed away from competing for almost two years. She returned to action last year and went on to decimate all competition at the 2023 World Championships in Antwerp. Since then, she hasn’t come second in any event that she participated in. She silenced the haters once again at the Paris Games and sealed her reputation as the greatest gymnast that ever was. But her personal dreams never held Simone back from extending a helping hand to those who needed it.

When her national teammate Jordan Chiles contemplated leaving gymnastics for good in 2018, it was Simone who stepped forward to convince her to keep at it. Taking Chiles with her to Texas to train together at the World Champions Center, it would look like the 27-year-old saved Jordan’s career. And Chiles’ mom hasn’t forgotten about it either. Just days ago, Gina Chiles thanked Simone for becoming a savior for her daughter when everything looked grim. Furthermore, Simone’s experience at the 2020 Olympics also gave her colleagues the confidence that talking about mental health can only help them ensure theirs. “Having Simone come forward and use her platform in Tokyo, I think, was really powerful,” said Canadian gymnast Ellie Black about Biles’ contribution to the gymnastics community.

But will Simone be able to fill the shoes that she believes Andrade wears casually? Tell us your thoughts about it with a comment below.

ORLANDO, Fla. — Simone Biles took center stage at the Kia Center Saturday night during the Gold Over America Tour.

It was like a mini-Olympics in the heart of Orlando.

Alongside some of her fellow Olympic medalists, she took to the floor and beam, giving the audience a feel for what it was like to be in Paris for the 2024 games.

There was even a question-and-answer time with the Olympians, where they shed light on their workout routines and encouraged the next generation of athletes.

The athletes didn’t just show off their individual talents they also performed together to songs of nearly every genre, getting the audience out of their seats to dance with them and ending it all with a performance that included young kids who may just be future Olympians too.

Biles closed the evening by encouraging the crowd, which included many who had just weathered Hurricane Milton, by telling them “We are praying for you. God bless you.”

Simone Biles, who solidified her status as the best gymnast in the world at the 2024 Paris Olympics, is traversing the nation on her Gold Over America Tour, a.k.a The GOAT.

Due to Biles’ busy schedule, the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history is unable to watch her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens, play every week. Earlier this month, the tour had back-to-back shows at the Fiserv Forum in Minneapolis on Saturday and the United Center in Chicago on Sunday. Before the second performance, Biles made it to Soldier Field to watch her husband defeat the Los Angeles Rams 24-17.

In Week 6, the Bears traveled to London to take on the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium. While Biles remained stateside, she’s scheduled to perform at the Gas South Arena in Duluth, Minnesota on Oct. 13, she made sure Owens knew she was watching.

Biles posted a GIF on her Instagram Stories of the Bears’ dominant 35-16 win over the Jaguars. She wrote, “BEAR DOWN BABY 🐻🧡.”

While Owens recorded one solo tackle against Jacksonville, Bears rookie quarterback Caleb Williams put on a clinic. Williams completed 23-of-29 passes for 226 yards and four touchdowns.

Chicago heads in the bye week with a 4-2 record. During the break, Owens, 29, will likely visit Biles on tour in order spend some quality time with his wife. The 27-year-old has several shows during the Bears’ bye week. She performs in St. Charles on Oct. 15, Kansas City on Oct. 16, Austin on Oct. 18, and Fort Worth on Oct. 20.
