Simone Biles is once again proving she’s the ultimate cheerleader for her husband, Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens! While juggling her busy schedule on the Gold Over America Tour—better known as “The GOAT” tour—she makes sure to show her support from afar. As the most decorated gymnast in U.S. history, Biles has been traveling across the country, making it tough to catch every Chicago Bears game. Despite being in Duluth, Minnesota, for her performance at the Gas South Arena on October 13, she still stands for Owens—but not in the stands this time!

During Week 6, when the Bears faced off against the Jacksonville Jaguars at Wembley Stadium in London, Biles posted a fun GIF on her Instagram Stories to celebrate the Bears’ impressive 35-16 win. She wrote, “BEAR DOWN BABY 🐻🧡,” showing her enthusiasm. While Owens managed to get one solo tackle, it was rookie quarterback Caleb Williams who really stole the show, completing 23 of 29 passes for 226 yards and four touchdowns.

Earlier this month, Simone Biles’ tour kicked off with back-to-back shows at the Fiserv Forum in Minneapolis on Saturday and the United Center in Chicago on Sunday. Before her second performance, she made a quick stop at Soldier Field to cheer on her husband, who helped the Chicago Bears secure a 24-17 win over the Los Angeles Rams.

With the Bears heading into their bye week with a solid 4-2 record, it looks like Owens, 29, might swing by to visit Simone while she’s on tour. Speaking of which, she has a busy schedule ahead, performing in St. Charles on October 15, Kansas City on October 16, Austin on October 18, and Fort Worth on October 20. But at the same time, Simone Biles is also winning but not medals but hearts!

Simone Biles, night of inspiration and unity at the Gold Over America Tour

Simone Biles lit up the Kia Center on Saturday night during the Gold Over America Tour, bringing a taste of the Olympics to Orlando. Joined by her fellow Olympic medalists, Jordan Chiles, Jade Carey, Fred Richard, and more, she dazzled the crowd with performances on the floor and beam, giving fans a glimpse of what it was like to compete in Paris at the 2024 games. In a special Q&A session, the Olympians shared their training routines and offered words of inspiration to young athletes eager to follow in their footsteps.

The night wasn’t just about individual showcases; the athletes came together to perform lively routines to songs spanning multiple genres, getting the crowd on their feet to dance along. The event ended with a touching performance that included local kids, giving a nod to the future of gymnastics. Biles closed the evening with heartfelt words, offering support to those affected by Hurricane Milton: “We are praying for you. God bless you.” The event was a resounding reminder of the resilience and unity that sports can inspire, leaving everyone with hope for the future.

The Olympic gymnast has had an exciting comeback, and it didn’t stop at the Olympics.

Olympics gymnast Sunisa “Suni” Lee is having a hell of a comeback year, and meeting another powerful woman has made it all the more exciting.

Tonight, at Glamour Magazine’s Women of the Year Awards — where she was one of the women given the honor — Lee met Beyoncé, and to say that she was fangirling would be an understatement. In a clip taken from the awards ceremony, Lee and Bey are seen chatting, and Lee can barely keep her composure. The words exchanged in the conversation are unclear, but it sounds like the conversation was fulfilling for both ladies.

Shortly after, the two posed for a photo shared to Lee’s Instagram Story. Lee was wearing a glimmering silver long-sleeved dress, will Bey was wearing a fabulous shirt-and-long-skirt combo, cinched with a large belt.

Suni Lee

This past summer, Lee won a gold medal at the 2024 Paris Olympics in the team all-around event. This marked her second gold medal win, after winning a gold medal in the 2020 Tokyo Games in the women’s all-around.

She announced her retirement in March 2023 after being diagnosed with a kidney disease. She returned to gymnasitcs in August 2023, making her comeback to elite gymnastics at the 2023 U.S. Classic.

In an interview with Glamour, Lee revealed that she hasn’t thought much about making an Olympic return for the 2028 games in Los Angeles. But if she does, she doesn’t want there to be a hero’s journey narrative surrounding her as she competes.

“I don’t think I would want there to be a huge story,” Suni said. “I’d just want to work my butt off in the gym every single day and get everything that I deserved at the Olympics. You know? It shouldn’t be deeper than that.”

In 2013, 16-year-old Simone Biles made her Gymnastics World Championships debut in Antwerp, Belgium and brought home her first-ever gold medal. Now, exactly a decade later, she did it again—in the same city and the same venue, but with a lot more hardware under her belt.

On October 4, Biles won her 20th World’s gold medal in Antwerp as Team USA clinched their record-breaking seventh consecutive title. Her podium finish at the 2023 Artistic Gymnastics World Championships at age 26 makes her the oldest US woman to earn any World’s medal, according to NBC Sports.

The event also marks a comeback for Biles: Her appearance in Belgium is her first international competition in two years. She withdrew from the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 due to the “twisties”—a potentially dangerous mind-body disconnect in which gymnasts lose spatial awareness midair—and took the time she needed to recover physically and mentally.

“You kind of have to take that mental break, because if not, obviously, your body will decide for you, and that’s what mine did in Tokyo,” Biles told Inside Gymnastics Magazine about her time off. “It was the worst timing, but I’m very happy what happened just because I got to go and really focus on myself. And I’m still continuing to work on myself.”

During her hiatus from the sport, Biles spoke candidly about her mental health and the importance of prioritizing her emotional well-being. “It’s challenging to talk about how you’re doing mentally since it’s an invisible injury,” she told Good Housekeeping in 2022. “People can’t see it, so it’s harder to understand, but I think that’s why it’s so important we feel empowered to open up about it.”

And she continued to do so even after she announced her comeback this past summer. When asked how she was handling her return to the sport in an Instagram Q&A, she wrote “Lots of therapy,” per People. “I go once a week for almost two hours. I’ve had so much trauma, so being able to work on some of the traumas and work on healing is a blessing.”

While Worlds aren’t over yet—the all-around final will be held on Friday and individual events are scheduled over the weekend—the competition has already been a successful one. Beyond her medal count, Biles has also etched her name in the history books for another reason: In the qualifying rounds on Sunday, Biles became the first woman to land the Yurchenko double pike vault in competition. The incredibly difficult combination—she performed a roundoff to back handspring onto the apparatus, then flipped twice in the air with her body folded and legs straight—will now be called the Biles II. It’s the fifth skill named after her, joining two on floor, one on beam, and an earlier one on vault.

So yes, there may be more records broken and medals won this weekend, but that’s not really the biggest driver for Biles right now.

“I think what success means to me is a little bit different than before, because before, everyone defined success for me, even if I had my own narrative that I wanted,” Biles told Olympics.com before the World Championships. “So, now, it’s just showing up, being in a good head place, having fun out there, and whatever happens, happens.”

Despite her elite status, things haven’t been easy for Simone Biles. The 7x Olympic champ had to traverse mountains to reach where she is now. And yet, despite her revered position within the community, Biles can’t help but remember the mental toil she had to go through. With her personal experience still fresh in her memory, Biles continues to help others navigate through the maze.

Mental health continues to be a relatively less talked about topic in the world of athletics. Despite many stars suffering from its impacts, the issue is yet to garner widespread attention, but Biles wants to change the narrative.

The Texan recently received a special shoutout from the Child Mind Institute for taking off the lids on discussing mental health. This also provided the most decorated gymnast of all time to once again highlight how standing together is the best way to overcome such troubles. Sharing the original news via a recent Instagram story, Simone Biles underscored the necessity of sticking together. “On this journey together,” wrote the Olympic icon in her IG update. And it looks like setting quite an example on how to handle the inner turmoil.

In a recent survey of 1,000 women by @femalequotient, 63% said they felt more inspired to prioritize their mental health after Simone Biles openly discussed taking time off for her well-being,” reads the original IG post by Child Mind Institute. The post also clarifies that more women are now comfortable talking about their stress as a way to initiate measures to help them cope with the same.

For athletes, being at their peak conditions is a fundamental necessity for success. However, in most cases, the discussion ends with their physical attributes, but Biles is here to change the notion altogether. And she knows where to look at to fathom its depth comprehensively.

Simone Biles looks at her own life to realize the importance of mental health

The 2021 Tokyo Olympics was an event that Simone would rather forget. After a shaky performance at the Japanese capital in the early phases, Simone Biles ultimately pulled out of the team finals, citing her run-in with mental troubles. Attributing her ordeal to “the twisties”, she decided to sit it out. While her family and coach supported her decision, the gymnast was met with severe backlash from the community, who swiftly labeled her a “quitter“.

The experience was harrowing, and Biles still struggles to look at her leotard from the event. “Even touching it is like ugh,” she was heard saying in her Netflix documentary Simone Biles: RISING. Paris was a resounding success, on the other hand, for both Team USA and Simone. But the bitter aftertaste still lingers in her mouth. “I think that was the hardest part after Tokyo – I didn’t trust myself to do gymnastics,” she revealed, acknowledging how the trauma still makes its presence felt.

With that, Simone Biles now wants to ensure others get by with a little help from their close ones. “We think we can do it on our own, but sometimes we just can’t. So use every outlet given to you,” she told Olympics.com right after her fumble in Tokyo. But will her efforts be enough to remove the stigma? Only time will tell.

TENSION AS ; Simone Biles ‘almost had a heart attack’ after husband Jonathan Owens scored first Bears TD of the season

Chicago Bears safety Jonathan Owens traveled to Paris this summer to watch his wife Simone Biles compete at the Olympics.

On Sunday, it was Biles’ turn to play spectator as the Bears played their season opener at home against the Tennessee Titans. She got a show.

The Bears struggled on offense with rookie Caleb Williams at quarterback and trailed 17-3 early in the third quarter. The Bears forced a Titans punt on Tennessee’s first possession of the second half, setting up Chicago for its first touchdown of the day

Defensive lineman Daniel Hardy broke through the Titans’ line and blocked Ryan Stonehouse’s punt. Owens was there to scoop it up. He picked up the loose ball and returned it 21 yards for a Bears touchdown.

A 17-3 deficit had been cut to 17-10, sending the Solider Field crowd into a frenzy. Biles was watching.

She wrote on social media that she “almost had a heart attack.”

The play sparked a defensive-led Bears’ comeback, as Chicago scored on an interception return for a touchdown that gave them a 24-17 victory.

Biles delivered at the Paris Olympics with four medals, including three golds. Owens was there to share in the medal celebration.

Biles will surely be happy to join in on celebrating Owens’ heroics following his big play on his first day in a Bears uniform after joining Chicago in the offseason.

‘Can’t I Live?’ 7-Time Gold Medalist Simone Biles Isn’t Thinking About the 2028 Olympics ‘Can’t I Live?’

SEVEN-TIME OLYMPIC GOLD medalist Simone Biles, who collected four medals this year alone, isn’t making any immediate plans for the 2028 games. During a recent appearance on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, the gymnastics legend reflected on her recent success in Paris. She recognized that whether or not she’ll compete when the games come to Los Angeles is the burning question everyone wants answered — but right now, she’s looking ahead at her future outside of the gym

“Everybody wants to know this question. I’m like, ‘Can’t I live?’” Biles told Fallon, laughing. She has thought about it, but mostly just to the extent of how her age factors into her standing as a gymnast. “First, I’m getting older. 27 is a little bit old for a gymnast,” she said. “Outside of the gym, I’m young. Tequila, no hangover. But in the gym? I am old.” Biles joked that it would be easier if there was a way to tag team the competition by tapping someone else in halfway through on beam, vault, floor, and bar routines.

The Paris Olympics were, on their own, a major accomplishment for Biles. It marked something of a redemption tour for the athlete, who partially pulled out of the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 after experiencing “the twisties,” a disorienting condition that drastically throws off a gymnast’s rhythm, balance, and spatial awareness. “It meant everything, especially coming off of Tokyo. That wasn’t my best performance or how I planned for it to go,” she explained. “So to put the work in mentally and physically and to be back on a world stage, competing at an Olympic Games meant everything to me.”

Now that Biles has solidified herself as the greatest gymnast of all time — so much so that she wears a diamond-encrusted goat pendant on a chain around her neck — her focus is on preserving her legacy as such. “As long as I’m inspiring the next generation and having fun and just making sure that it’s not all about winning, but still putting a good foot forward even when it doesn’t go your way, I think that’s what I would want it to be,” she added.

Simone Biles is back! Olympic legend returns to gymnastic training just weeks after Paris success

Simone Biles is back to her training routine following a terrific performance at the Paris Olympics.

The Team USA gymnastics star collected another three gold medals and a silver to bring her total to 11 overall (including seven golds) in her Olympic career.

But the 27-year-old is apparently done resting as she posted an Instagram story of a gymnastics facility on Saturday

Biles is not in the photo herself but captioned the snap ‘first day back,’ suggesting that she was getting back to her normal preparations.

Additionally, a Texas state flag was seen in the picture, so it’s likely that Biles was practicing in her home state.

As part of a team including Jordan Chiles, Sunisa Lee, Jade Carey and Hezly Rivera, Biles collected a gold medal for the team competition in Paris, as well as the vault and all-around individually.

She also picked up a silver medal individually in the floor exercise.

Biles will soon hit the road for the Gold Over America Tour this fall alongside USA teammate Chiles and a host of other gymnasts.

The tour is scheduled to run from September 16 to November 3 and hit the likes of Chicago, Los Angeles and Brooklyn.

Biles has kept busy following her Olympics success, as she cheered on husband Jonathan Owens in a Bears preseason game.

However, the Olympian caught some flack after her custom jacket featuring pictures of Owens on it displayed a large Packers logo – her husband’s former team and a fierce division rival of the Bears.

Biles has also been updating fans on the progress of the mansion that she and Owens are having constructed in Texas.

The house is apparently close to completion, and she revealed that she was ‘So excited to make this house a HOME [in] a couple more months.’

AS SHE SAID” Simone Biles won’t tolerate your hate: Star gymnast shuts down critics after luxury splurge

Simone Biles fresh off her triumphant performance at the 2024 Paris Olympics, has found herself at the center of online debate after being spotted with a new Hermès handbag.

Simone Biles claps back at haters

The 27-year-old gymnast, who made history by becoming the most decorated gymnast ever, faced criticism from some fans who accused her of flaunting her wealth following her Olympic success.

Biles, however, was quick to address the controversy.

In response to the backlash, she clarified that the expensive Hermès bag was a gift from her parents, not a self-purchase.

“My parents bought me my Hermès bag,”Biles explained.

“Don’t be mad at me, be mad at your parents.”

The debate began when Biles shared photos from a shopping trip in Paris, where she posed in front of a wall lined with Hermès Birkin bags, some of which can cost tens of thousands of dollars.

She also posted a photo of an orange gift box, the signature packaging of Hermès, hinting at a luxurious purchase.

While some fans defended Biles, stating she should enjoy her success and spend her money as she pleases, others accused her of showing off and overshadowing her fellow Olympians who might not have the same financial opportunities.

Biles is used to living under a magnifying glass

This isn’t the first time Biles has had to navigate public scrutiny.

Throughout her career, the gymnast has consistently faced criticism, whether it’s regarding her personal life or her decisions on and off the mat.

Recently, she defended her husband, Chicago Bears defensive back Jonathan Owens, after fans questioned his right to wear her gold medal during their time in Paris.

Despite the criticism, Biles remains undeterred.

Her latest remarks demonstrate her resilience and determination to rise above the negativity, much like she has done throughout her gymnastics career.

Beyond the controversy, Biles is continuing to celebrate her Olympic success with her upcoming GOAT – Gold Over America Tour.

She will be joined by her fellow Olympians Jade Carey and Jordan Chiles, who, alongside Biles, helped secure gold for Team USA in Paris.

The tour promises to showcase the best of American gymnastics talent, with performances from both the women’s and men’s teams, including Paul Juda, Brody Malone, and Fred Richard, who made history by winning bronze in Paris – the first U.S. men’s gymnastics team to medal at the Olympics in 16 years.

Bronze medal controversy: Simone Biles, Suni Lee back Jordan Chiles amid Paris Olympics bronze medal controversy

Simone Biles and Suni Lee came to the support of Jordan Chiles on social media as the American gymnast’s bronze medal win in the floor exercise is in limbo.

Chiles may end up having to return the Olympic medal after the Center of Arbitration for Sport ruled Saturday that her score must revert to the original mark because the U.S. did not file an inquiry with judges in time. The International Olympic Committee on Sunday determined that Chiles must return her medal, but USA Gymnastics appealed the ruling, saying it had video evidence showing coaches made the inquiry in time.

As Chiles wrote on her Instagram Stories over the weekend that she was heartbroken over the chaotic situation, Biles and Lee offered messages of support.

“Sending you so much love Jordan,” Biles wrote on her Instagram Stories. “Keep your chin up olympic champ! We love you!”

Lee wrote a loving message of support as well and took a swipe at Olympic officials over the debacle.

“All this talk about the athlete, what about the judges?? Completely unacceptable. This is awful and I’m gutted for Jordan,” she wrote. “I got your back forever Jo. (You) have all my flowers and you will ALWAYS be an Olympic champion.”

Team USA wrote on its X account, “Forever THAT girl.”

If Chiles is stripped of her medal, she will become only the third gymnast in history to have an Olympic medal stripped. The other two were China’s Dong Fangxiao and Romania’s Andreea Răducan, both of whom lost their medals from the 2000 Sydney Olympics.

SAYS USA COACH CHELLSIE MEMMEL”2024 PARIS OLYMPIC GAMES, SIMONE BILES IN A ‘REALLY GREAT PLACE

Simone Biles endured a tough time at the Tokyo Olympics in 2021 due to mental health struggles, but after a two-year hiatus she returned and qualified for the 2024 Paris Olympic Games. USA gymnastic technical lead Chellsie Memmell cut a confident figure when discussing Biles and her team-mates chances, with the tournament now less than a week away.

US Olympic gymnastic technical lead Chellsie Memmel believes Simone Biles has been “doing great” ahead of the 2024 Paris Olympic Games.
Biles withdrew from a number of events at Tokyo 2020 as she suffered from mental health issues, and the team claimed silver, having gone into the Games as favourites.
The 27-year-old took a two-year break from the sport before returning with one eye on the 2024 Olympics in France, which will be her third time at the event.
Memmel had no concerns over Biles’ preparation, and thinks the US will be able to put right the problems of their time in Japan.
“Simone has been doing great,” she said.
“She’s been solid in training since Katy, Texas and seems to be in a really great place.
“She’s a great leader for this team, and together they are really looking forward to the competition. It is kind of their redemption tour.”
Jade Carey, Jordan Chiles, Sunisa Lee and Biles all competed in Tokyo, with 16-year-old Hezly Rivera making her Olympic debut this summer.
Memmel made it clear they are trying not to put too much pressure on Biles at this forthcoming competition.
“We don’t say to her that she is keeping us all together, and we’re relying on you and you alone,” she explained.
“I’ve had the conversation with (head coach) Cecile (Landi) already about team finals and what the expectation for Simone is.
“If she doesn’t feel like it’s going to be in her best interest to do all four events that day, is that an option for her? Absolutely.
“If that’s what she needs to continue to be at her best for her team and for herself, that’s what we’re going to do because there are still four members on our team.”
She added: “I want them to get through this and be happy, healthy and proud of what they accomplish no matter what the outcome is.
“I want them to be proud and to look back and say I’m so glad I had this experience.”
