That makes it sound like Woods will not be teeing it up at TPC Sawgrass. The Florida Swing then ends the following week before the PGA Tour heads to Texas for two weeks ahead of the Masters next month.
“Once I start probably feeling a little bit better and start getting into it, I’ll start looking at the schedule,” Woods added.
Woods’ last official PGA Tour start came at the Open Championship in July when he shot 79-77 to miss the cut in a third consecutive major for the first time in his career. He underwent a sixth back surgery in September before returning to action in December to nearly win the PNC Championship with his son. The 49-year-old Woods has also played in four TGL matches as well as the one-day Seminole pro-member on Monday.
